Custom MX and A Records in Shared Website Hosting
If you have a shared website hosting account with our company and you would like to point either your website or your emails to a different company, it will take you literally just 2 mouse clicks to do this. Our Hepsia Control Panel offers an easy-to-use DNS Records tool, where all your domain names and subdomains are going to be listed alphabetically and you're going to be able to see and edit the A and/or MX records for any of them. If you wish to use a different e-mail provider and they ask you to create more MX records than the default 2, it's not going to take more than a few mouse clicks either to add them. You can even set different latency for these records and the lower the latency, the greater the priority a particular MX record will have. The propagation of any record that you change or set up will not take more than several hours and if required, you will also be able to set the so-called Time-To-Live value, which reveals how long a record will stay active after it's modified or deleted.
Custom MX and A Records in Semi-dedicated Hosting
If you purchase a semi-dedicated server plan from us, you are going to be able to view and change the A and MX records for every one of the domain names or subdomains you host in the account. The Hepsia CP, which you'll get to control the account, comes with an innovative, although easy-to-use tool in which all hosts are going to be listed in alphabetical order and you'll be able to edit their records with no more than a couple of clicks. If you have to create a new record, it's going to be equally simple - select the domain/subdomain, enter the IP address or mail server record and you're going to be ready. You'll also be able to set different priority for the MX records that you create in case you want to use a third-party e-mail provider and they ask you to create additional records apart from the two standard ones. If you encounter any issues, we have a in-depth Help section with videos where you can see first-hand how to create or change any record.
